Whole Hog Pig Pickin'

We carefully select a whole hog generally 40-60 lbs. The hog is marinated in a special vinegar based sauced. Then we slow smoke it for 20 hours till the meat is tender and juicy. The skin has a nice Hickory color. We garnish the feast with greens and vegitables, even an apple in the mouth. We present it to your guests with an entrance fitting a movie star. Then we carve and serve your guests to order. Generally each hog feeds 50-75 people. There is a 50 person minnimum per hog.

Price $750.00 per hog includes delivery up to 50 miles from Manassas, VA. Outside that area may inccur additional delivery fees.

Menu: BBQ pork, & pulled smoked Chicken, Hot Dogs, beans, cole slaw, potato salad, cookies for desert, iced tea for drink, HOGSAUCE, plates, napkins, & utensils all included. Up to 2 hours of serving time also included. Minimum 100 Guests. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit required to secure your date. All prices are plus tax.

Why aren't some things priced on the website?

A. First off we cover a large area (Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania) and our prices have fuel and time calculated into them based on where your party is.

Secondly, we have market pricing on most of our products. If beef shoots up .40 a pound it can greatly affect our bottom line. We monitor food prices daily and adjust when needed. This helps keep your prices as low as possible.

Next, the quantity served. If you have a large party, this can affect the pricing to your benefit. Larger parties mean we can get bulk discounts on certain items. We then pass the savings on to you.

Lastly the short answer everyone is looking for, cost. Most of our menus are $8.00-$15.00 per person for food items. If you are shopping caterers in the area, I am sure a lot of your quotes start at $25.00. So we generally are way below most of the competition.
